The Way Of Jesus, by Bruce Chilton (2010) book is extremely good. www.amazon.com/gp/product/1501876732/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i7first 4 of this playlist: www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN3brxtiG0s&list=PLSr1ccGkY9ISUpdsFLGzgA6L6VjsJA2tVChilton is so diametrically different from the I AM A CHRISTIAN MOVEMENT which has infected our nation, preyed upon the most vulnerable, built mega churches and television empires, and has infected most all denominational churches too. In some of his talks and other writings Chilton makes use of Nag Hammadi and other apocryphal texts. He makes much of the book of Enoch. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_of_EnochAnd there is also Pistis Sophia en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pistis_SophiaIn his above book though Chilton does not talk much about Nag Hammadi. In has last reference not though he cites a number of the manuscripts. The Prayer of the Apostle Paul The Gospel According to Mary The Sophia of Jesus Christ The Dialog of the Savior The Thunder, Perfect Mind The Paraphrase of Shem The Second Treatise of the Great Seth The Teachings of Silvanus and these are the James Robinson 1978 translations. In his 3rd chapter, entitled "Kingdom", Chilton draws from Psalms 96, 145, 10, 24, 47, and also Isaiah 11, and some more.
