It usually is impossible to completely get around car keys and wallet dating. And not all of it is bad. Some of the events can be fun, and everyone does need to eat.
But in my view you still want to minimize it, and minimize the formality of it.
With P4P you can likely reduce it.
Car Keys and Wallet dating is conspicuous consumption. I find this to be distasteful. And unless you plan to be doing that for your whole life, you need some other way, you need some way which the relationship can further develop so that it is an actual partnership, and usually home based.
So the alternative is long MSOG sessions, usually TLN's.
But even that is not enough. The amount of conservatising social force exerted on a heterosexual relationship cannot be over estimated. Such relationships are after all the axis on which social conservatism revolves.
So besides just doing MSOG TLN's, you still need something else, some other kind of software.
I make compromises for Viet Coffee, some casual restaurants, and strip clubs. But I make these compromises because I understand that such could not work any other way. But I make these compromises voluntarily, not because of any pressure being exerted on me.
Before I was married I let the car keys and wallet dating go way too far. I did not insist that the relationship become home based. So it did become a problem. And even after marriage these problems did not lessen.
Car Keys and Wallet Dating may have some benefits in moderation, and it is hard to completely get away from it. But allowing it to go too far is a mistake, a serious one.
To remedy this, there is still something more needed.
And we can see here that I am not just imagining, simply by the numbers of men who eschew any kind of relationships.
